Gardaworld Drivers & Messengers in Lavonia Michigan Vote to Join Our Union United Federation LEOS-PBA

It was truly a Cinco de Mayo day May 5, 2026 when the 35 drivers and messengers working for Garda CL Great Lakes, Inc. Case 07-RC-384516 in Livonia Michigan Voted to Join Our Union United Federation LEOS-PBA Law Enforcement Officers Security & Police Benevolent Association Armored Car Division.

From the start of this campaign Garda CL Great Lakes, Inc. local management started its anti-union campaign which is typical for Garda. However, unlike the typical Union-Busting tactics / anti-union campaigns run by Garda, this campaign went over and beyond when one of its local Garda management Jenifier Tuttle threatened at least one employee by stating " you need to vote against the Union because everyone who supports the union and votes yes will be walked out and not have a job". It was reported by the Garda drivers and messengers that 2 days of this incident Jenifier Tuttle was walked out of the Garda branch and was terminated from her position.

We wish the Garda 35 drivers and messengers working for Garda CL Great Lakes, Inc. Case 07-RC-384516 in Livonia, Michigan and especially our lead organizer Anthony Gallup who stood up and was not afraid to take on Garda CL Great Lakes, Inc. despite the threats into our United Federation LEOS-PBA family.

We now must wait for the National Labor Relations Board to certify the results of this election.
