SPFPA President Hickey Will Stop at Nothing to Destroy Steve Maritas' Reputation including communications with my soon to be X Wife

TO ALL UNITED FEDERATION LEOS-PBA MEMBERS AND OFFICERS:

It has come to our attention that over the last several days, SPFPA and its President David Hickey has been posting false and defamatory statements concerning me. In addition, SPFPA actions and posts are trying to make it appear that our great Union, United Federation LEOS-PBA is somehow a criminal organization, which it is NOT.

I am currently in a divorce with my wife, and despite favorable settlement offers to her, she has rejected them and demanded more. 

To that end, she is now colluding with Mr. Hickey and SPFPA, using their platform, in the hopes of increasing her settlement.  Mr. Hickey and SPFPA have their own obvious reasons to be conspiring with her.

I have been told by legal counsel that SPFPA, Mr. Hickey and my soon-to-be ex-wife’s actions amount to "CRIMINAL EXTORTION".  I am in the process of contacting all the necessary legal authorities in the specific places to pursue all civil and criminal remedies. 

Rest assured, I will be further responding to these allegations.  For now, I have not lived in the marital home since late 2022, where this alleged firearm was found.  Therefore, it is legally impossible for SPFPA’s statements to have any factual basis. 

To my brothers and sisters, some of whom are former SPFPA members, you are aware of the lies Mr. Hickey and his band of cohorts will say to further their own self-interest.

Why is SPFPA President David L. Hickey so determined to smear the reputation of Steve Maritas? Maybe it's because Maritas has organized thousands of SPFPA's members who left Hickey's Union to join our Union. Noted Charles Strebeck President of the United Federation LEOS-PBA.
