Los Angeles - January 23, 2026 - In the first win of the year the United Federation LEOS-PBA easily destroyed our rival Union SPiT-FA by a score of 22 to ZERO (0) in another embarrassing loss for David L. Hickey and his Regional 3 Vice President Ryan Kelly
The 47 full-time and regular part-time detention officers performing guard duties
as defined in Section 9(b)(3) of the Act, as amended, employed by the Employer Spectrum Security Services, Inc in Los Angeles and Orange Counties, California, sent a clear message to SPiT-FA, Hickey & Ryan.

On January 28th and January 28th, the 250 Vogtle Nuclear Security Officers working for Southern Nuclear will have their opportunity to vote SPiT-FA out once again after the Vogtle Nuclear Security Officers filed an NLRB to DECERTFY their present Union SPiT-FA. Our affiliated Union National Union of Nuclear Security Officers NUNSO will also be a choice on the ballot after we were contacted by some of the Vogtle nuclear officers asking us to participate in this DECERTIFICATION election AGAINST SPiT-FA as an alternative UNION choice vs voting for SPiT-FA or no union.
The National Union of Nuclear Security Officers NUNSO will be holding two (2) townhall meetings next Tuesday & Wednesday to address the Vogtle nuclear officers' questions & concerns.
We wish to welcome the 47 Spectrum Security Services, Detention officers into our Union Federation LEOS-PBA family. As soon as we are certified by the NLRB we will begin negotiations with your company, our bargaining committee, our attorneys and our lead negotiators.
