The United Federation LEOS-PBA organizing team is working with several SPIT-FA Paragon groups from around the country who are looking to leave David Hickey's SPIT-FA security guard Union to join our Union United Federation LEOS-PBA Law Enforcement Officers Security & Police Benevolent Association. This includes Boston, El Paso Texas, Hawaii, Idaho, Vermont, Idaho, North Carolina, Washington DC region and Georgia just to name a few.
Boston Paragon PSO's are now looking to leave Dave Hickey's SPIT-FA Union to join the United Federation LEOS-PBA union.
United Federation LEOS-PBA President Charles Strebeck had noted " We will be more than happy to assist any and all Paragon System Inc PSO groups especially Boston & El Paso Texas who are presently awaiting election dates as well as Hawaii, Idaho, & Georgia who are looking to leave Dave Hickey's crumbling, no service SPIT-FA union".
Presently our Union United Federation LEOS-PBA represents the biggest Paragon System Inc Protective Service Officers contracts within the United States as well as negotiating some of the best contracts with the highest wages for our members. This includes Los Angeles, with a pay rate of $37.97 per hour San Diego with a wage rate $37.23 and New York @ $33.50 per hour and the above does NOT include health and welfare money which is separate.
When you compare other Union contracts you will see that the United Federation LEOS-PBA's Paragon System Inc PSO wage rates are far below what our Union has achieved. As a matter of fact both the SPIT-FA and ugsoa Paragon never even reach a hourly rate of $30.00 or more while our United Federation LEOS-PBA Paragon contracts far exceed this $30.00 an hour wage rate. The United Federation LEOS-PBA has negotiated wage increases from $26.67 per hour to $33.50 per hour or $6.83 wage increase over a two year period on behalf of NYC Paragon PSO's. including a $3.00 wage increase back on October 1, 2022. The highest wage increase Paragon PSO's in NYC or anywhere around the country have ever received. No other security union SPIT-FA or UGSOA can make these same claims!

BEWARE OF DAVE HICKEY'S SPIT-FA's PERFECT 3 SHELL GAME
The game works like this. Dave Hickey SPIT-FA is unable to negotiate any type of significant wage increase as in the case of the Paragon PSO's in Boston, El Paso Texas & Hawaii so what does Hickey do?
Hickey uses his magical magician sleight of hand skills and then proceeds to negotiate with the employer, taking a portion of a Paragon PSO's health & welfare money which is already being paid to them by the company and now directs that this money appear as wages. Once this happens SPIT-FA President Dave Hickey now boasts he was successful in negotiating a higher wage increase then what was really negotiated. In El Paso Texas SPIT-FA President Dave Hickey did the same shell (CON) game magician trick to the underpaid Paragon PSO's in El Paso. See below.
As you can see above these Paragon PSO's from El Paso Texas were making $21.17 per hour and as July 1, 2022 they would be making $22.91 per hour. This would appear to be a $1.74 dollar raise per hour and a very good raise. However things do not appear to be what they should be.
When we look at the perfect 3 Shell (CON) Game Magic Trick performed by Dave Hickey & company above you will notice that the these Paragon PSO's from El Paso Texas were making $5,80 (five dollar and eighty cents) per hour in their Health & Welfare which $4.52 will be diverted to the SPIT-FA plan and $1.28 shall be contributed to the SPIT-FA retirement 401(k) plan.
Effective July 1, 2022: A total of $4.80, of which $4.80 will be diverted to the SPIT-FA plan. So where did the Extra $1.00 that was previously being paid into the Health & Welfare go?
Remember these Paragon El Paso PSO's were receiving $5.80 an hour into their H&W and now are only receiving $4.80.
So where did the Extra H&W Dollar $1.00 go to?
The Extra H&W went directly from Paul to Pay Peter in the way of wages. So instead of receiving $1.74 Wage Increase as it appears in this SHELL GAME these Paragon PSO's for El Paso Texas only actually received a $0.74 cent raise vs a $1.74 cent raise. Now you witnessed SPIT-FA President Dave Hickey's Shell (CON) Game Magic Trick!

All our Wage Increases were the result of straight up negotiations. $3.00 in New York City - $2.00 in Los Angeles $1.80 in San Diego. You can expect the same or similar results in both Boston & El Paso Texas once we are elected by the membership!
Hickey Union SPIT-FA did the same thing in Hawaii whereby he took $0.70 cents from these Paragon PSO's in Hawaii and told them this was part of you raise. These Paragon PSO's from Hawaii, Guam, Saipan and American Samoa have already been in contact with our Union United Federation LEOS-PBA seeking to leave Hickey's failing SPIT-FA union later this year.
