South Carolina - The 80 plus Diversified Protection Corporation - AVAD Protective Service Officers PSO's in South Carolina have unanimously ratified a new collective bargaining agreement which gives these DPC / AVAD officers unprecedented wage increases of a $1.06 in the first year and $1.10 in the second year of their contract and a wage reopener in 3rd year.
"While some may say that a wage increases of a $1.06 in the first year and $1.10 in the second year of their contract is no big deal, prior to our Union the United Federation LEOS-PBA organizing this new group these 80 plus Diversified Protection Corp - AVAD PSO's in South Carolina were only averaging $0.42 wage increases per year" noted United Federation LEOS-PBA President Charles Chip Strebeck.
In addition to the above these 80 plus Diversified Protection Corp - AVAD PSO's in South Carolina will also receive an extra $0.50 cents per hour for a secret clearance and a $1.00 more an hour for top a secret clearance. Our Union was also successful in making many language changes as well as sick leave language, milage reimbursements, an additional vacation tier and adding an additional holiday Juneteenth, just to name a few.
